Day #21 of the 21 day detox. Total lbs lost = 20! Health… 100 Times better… working out for 1.5 Hours 5 days per week. Sleeping great, energy amazing, complexion beautiful, eating habits changed drastically… (I thought I ate healthy before…) Next goal: continue eating the same, continu working out and loose another 20 lbs in next 30 days. I refuse to let the holidays interrupt my goals and I am not going to have my health be part of a BS New Years Resolution, that tends to last a whoppin 3 months. I love my lifestyle and business… just need to preserve my health so I can enjoy it for a long long time. Happy to finish the detox and continue the program – Thanks for the support!!! Jennifer Bagley-Buckles Yes… during the winter our business usually slows down a little so I have to step it up during the winter months. Plus with this detox I have had more energy than I know what to do with…. Today I cleaned and organized every corner of my entire house, every drawer, basket, closet, etc Cooked an amazing soup, got the kids lunch ready, played on FB for a few and am going to go watch the rest of the Cowboys game on the Precore at the Gym, then spa, steam room and swim… bed and biz tomorrow.

Setting Expectations Lesson

I just got a message from someone that said that they had expected me to be the person who managed their entire website project and they are not happy that they have to work with my staff instead of me directly. The statement was made that that is how they operate their own business. Not sure how to explain this but – when I was a 1 person company I took care of 100% of my customers too. It’s a necessity. When you have over 300 clients and pay a team of people 1/4 mil dollars, that’s not realistic. That’s part of company growth. I personally try and combat that fact by providing weekly coaching and training to all via video’s and live broadcasts. Am I crazy or is this an unreasonable expectation of a small business owner?

  I feel 100 times better – now, I have to go clean my garage before my mother get’s here on Wednesday. This week my parents are coming from Seattle to visit and my son is turning 13. Why You Should Link To Other Pages And Not Just Your Homepage

Many of the sites we analyze have way more links pointing to their homepage than any other page in the entire sitemap. A better practice is to get external links pointing to other interior pages in your site, perhaps those that are nested deeper into the architecture.

This is called the deep link ratio, or the number of links pointing to your homepage compared to the rest of the site.

Why is this so important? The main reason is that sites who do a better job of linking to specific pages, like a product detail page for instance, will have a better opportunity to have that page show up in the search results. Your homepage is going to be too general to rank highly for lots of keywords, so you need to work on your interior pages as well.

What’s the goal? Ideally, you want more links, 60% or more, pointing to pages other than your homepage.
